Facility characteristics and atmosphere
The hot spring at Yunoshimakan features a Showa-era modern bathroom and an open-air bath surrounded by a Japanese garden. The bathtub is filled with 100% hot spring water, and the soft texture and subtle sulfurous scent will soothe your senses.
The main building is a three-story wooden structure, and the craftsmanship of the early Showa period can be seen everywhere. Day trips are limited to certain areas, but you can still fully experience the atmosphere of Yunoshimakan.
Overview of day-trip bathing
Day-trip bathing is available between 12:00 and 15:00, and only a few groups are allowed per day. This is a space for adults who want to enjoy the hot springs in peace, and children under 12 years old are not allowed. You can soak in the hot springs to your heart's content in a calm atmosphere.
Towels and amenities can be purchased separately at the front desk. The bathroom offers a view of Gero's townscape and mountains, making you feel as if you're in another world.
